Arizona Revenue
This project involves evaluating the various sources of revenue for the state of Arizona & creating a dashboard through Power BI.

Description
The State of Arizona makes its revenue data available through the Arizona Transparency Portal. The dataset lists sources of state revenue, showing the origins of state funding and how they are tracked in the state funding system.
Filtered the data to only look at the Health and Welfare Sector and both the budget fiscal year and fiscal year of 2022.
Analytical Question
How do taxes along with other revenue categories from different organizations, appropriations, and fund types contribute to the state of Arizona’s revenue in the Health and Welfare sector for the fiscal year of 2022?
Power BI
Create a new measure "Hospital" is an IF statement to filter through the multiple types of funds to find the revenue from the Funds column that includes hospitals.

Create new columns:
“Fee” determines Transaction Descriptions that are fees.
“Fund Type” determines if the Fund Type is either Hospital, Child, or Other. This helps to narrow down and later determine the revenue resulting from hospital funds or funds involving children.
